NOTE:

For all homes, multiple dwelling units, or other structures existing, under construction or for which a building permit has been issued as of May 2, 1972, no connection fee will be charged if connection is made within one hundred and eighty (180) days after a public sewer is available for use provided however that an inspection fee will be charged. After the one hundred and eighty (180) day period has elapsed, the connection-inspection fee shall be 100 dollars for single family homes, first unit of duplexes, multiple housing, motels and hotels, or other structures; and 50 dollars for each additional unit or structure. Fees shall be payable when the permit to connect to the public sewer is issued.

  • Enforcement of temporary signs


Fees:

  • Permanent Signs
    Minimum fee up to three (3) square feet:     $ 10.00
    Thereafter per square feet:     $   1.50
  • Portable (Temporary) Signs
    $ 50.00 for Sixty (60) Days

  • Tower Special Permit Fee:
    Application Fee:   $ 2,000.00
    Plus additional costs for outside consultants incurred by the Town for review of propagation studies; search ring and analysis, co-location possibilities of any other review deemed by Town Officials.

  • Building Permit Fees:

    New Tower:   $20.00/linear ft of height
    (measured from grade to upper most part of tower)

  • Co-User:

    $ 500.00 per user

  • Located on Existing Structure:

    $ 1,000. per user

  • Site Plan Review Fee:

    $ 3,000.00

Applications to the Zoning Board of Appeals require an initial site plan review by the Building Department.

    • DRAINAGE PLAN REVIEW Fee:  $ 40.00 Residential / $ 150.00 Commercial

    • DUMPING PERMIT:   $ 250.00

    • SUB-DIVISION:   $100.00 per lot

    • TOPSOIL REMOVAL:   $ 100.00 Minimum Fee and $ .50 per Cubic Yard





    Marble-type seperator  Fireplaces, Wood Stoves, Gas Inserts & Pellet Stoves

    All stoves and fireplaces require a Building Permit.

    A Property Survey and a stove/fireplace specification sheet are required to apply for permit.

    All units must be UL Listed or they can not be installed.


    Two inspections are required:

    • Rough Inspection
    • Final Inspection

    When inspections are successful, you will receive a Certificate of Code Compliance

    Inspectors are available from 9:00 - 10:00AM and 1:00 - 2:00PM





    Marble-type seperator  Below/Above Ground Swimming Pools

    1. A minimum of 3 feet is required on the side and rear of pool.

    2. A minimum of 10 feet is required from a house and attached garage.

    3. A minimum of 5 feet from an unattached garage or accessory building.

    4. There are to be no over-hanging wires within 10 feet of the pool.

    5. On below-ground pools a fence is required around the pool - Minimum of 4 ft. high.

    6. On above-ground pools, a safety ladder is required   (A ladder that can be removed or locked up in place).

    7. A Ground Fault Interrupter shall be used for electrical service.

    8. A Permit is required for any pool or fence before it is erected.

    9. Any deck attached to the pool needs to be 10 feet away from the house.


    Notice:   Swimming Pools must be drained to a storm sewer or a road ditch by means of direct piping.   Any connection to a storm sewer must be of a temporary nature and disconnected immediately upon completion of draining or backflushing of swimming pool.
