RESERVE FIRE HOSE COMPANY TO CONDUCT TRAINING AT SOON-TO-BE DEMOLISHED STRUCTURE

More greenspace to be added to Fireman’s Park after demolition

WEST SENECA, NY – The Reserve Hose Fire Company of West Seneca Fire District #3 will be conducting training exercises for its members at 980 East & West Road, the site of a structure that will soon be demolished. Training is slated to kick off on Monday, May 21 and will run throughout the week.

The training will cover different situations that firefighters face when entering into a burning structure, such as roof ventilation, firefighter safety, search and rescue, and more. There will be no actual fires during this training; however, simulated smoke may be used. All training will be overseen by firefighters who are trained and certified instructors.

The demolition of the building will allow for more green space to be added to Fireman’s Park, which is located next to the structure.
