CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The
West Seneca Chamber of
Commerce has a membership of over 700 business people who receive a variety of
services shaped to their needs. This organization works to enhance the image and
success of the business community. It makes an effort to provide a town that is
prosperous, beautiful, and a better place in which to live.

WEST SENECA
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (WSDC)
The West Seneca Development
Corporation (WSDC) was created to encourage economic and community development in the
Town of West Seneca. The principal route to meet these goals will be the promotion and growth of
businesses in the town. Through the attraction of business, constraints on the tax
base will be alleviated, employment will increase, and greater financial stability will
follow. Attention will also be placed on community development and reinvestment in the existing
residential, commercial, and industrial areas that have formed our community.
This non-profit organization efficiently works towards its goals while considering a variety of options.
Through a partnership of representatives from the business community, local government, and the education system,
the WSDC strives to improve the economic climate and quality of life in the town.
The efforts of the organization will heighten the perceptions of West Seneca, demonstrate its
advantages, and act as a catalyst for its improvement. The effects of the WSDC's work will be substantial and long-term.
The successful pursuit of these ideas will allow all residents to share in the benefits of growth and preparation for the future.

The vision of Rotary Founder Paul Harris was of a club that would
kindle friendship among members of the business community. He wanted to find in a
large city the kind of friendly spirit and helpfulness that he had known in the small
towns where he had grown up -- the spirit to reach our in service to others less
fortunate. Through the subsequent spread of the Rotary movement, the spirit of
friendship and service evolved quite naturally into a focus on helping to build goodwill
and peace in the world.
Celebrating its 49th year of service, the Rotary Club of West Seneca represents a
cross-section of our business and professional life of the community. Admission to
Rotary club membership is by invitation, and accepting the invitation represents a
personal commitment of the Rotarian to exemplify high ethical standard's in one's own
vocation or occupation.
The mission of Rotary
International and the Rotary Club of West Seneca is to emphasize service activities by individuals and
groups that enhance the quality of life and human dignity, encouraging high ethical
