POOL RULES:
a. Showers are required before entering the pool.
b. No one enters the pool at any time without the presence of an instructor or a supervisor. Pool will not be opened until life guard or instructor is present.
c. Never swim alone
d. No running, pushing or horseplay on the deck.
e. No bottles, glasses or sharp objects in pool areas.
f. Stay out of the water when overtired or overheated.
g. Non swimmers cannot use inflated objects for support.
h. Know your limitations.
i. Call for help only when you need it.
j. No screaming.
k. Non swimmers who have not passed their Red Cross Beginners card test may not go past the shallow end rope.
l. No hanging or swinging on the shallow end rope.
m. Do not touch life saving equipment.
n. Use telephone only for emergencies
o. Bathing caps are requested for all people with long hair.
p. In the event of a fire drill, go immediately to the nearest side of the pool; get out of the water; sit quietly and wait for further instructions.
q. Do not leave pool area without supervisor being notified.
r. A whistle or lights being flashed off and on means instant quiet and the attention of everyone.
s. No shoes on pool deck.
t. No food or drink in pool or locker rooms.
SHOWER ROOM RULES:
a. Replace soap when finished.
b. Turn off shower when finished.
c. No running or horseplay.
d. Do not throw soap.
e. Turn cold water on first, then hot.
f. Turn hot water off first, then cold.
g. Soap and rinse all parts of the body when showering.
h. Wring out bathing suits in the shower room only.
