Supervisor Meegan called the work session to order at 3:00 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilman Hart.

Mary Josefiak Senior Recreation Therapist of Senior Services
Supervisor Meegan read the Fire Prevention Code instructing the public where to exit in case of a fire or an emergency.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Motion by Supervisor Meegan, seconded by Councilman Hanley, to recess to executive session at 3:05 PM to discuss a contract issue concerning the Community Center & Library project.
Ayes: All Noes: None Motion Carried
The board members returned from executive session at 3:10 P.M.
TOWN ENGINEER STEVEN TANNER
- Change order deduct for Heather Hill Drive/Pamela Court project
- Bid award for Community Center & Library project - all bids were very close; the total puts the job at $1.5 million over budget
- Bid award for Plant 6 repairs - Councilman Hanley commented this is a substantial project and questioned why there was only one bidder. Mr. Tanner responded the sewer is 20+ feet deep so contractors may not have wanted to bid on it. Sliplining was also included and there are only a couple companies that do that work or have equipment and crews to handle the depth of the sewer. Mr. Tanner further noted he is very familiar with Milherst Construction and their capabilities.
SENIOR RECREATION THERAPIST OF SENIOR SERVICES MARY JOSEFIAK
- Holiday parties are being planned – New Year’s Eve lunch on December 30th & Christmas Party on December 12th
- Van drivers to obtain town I.D. cards from Town Clerk’s office
- Requested push button opener for bathroom doors at senior center
- May receive funding to replace computers

· Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, December 11th; a limited number of tickets are still available
· Skate with Santa on Sunday, December 18th, 1:15 P.M. to 3 P.M.
· Family swim at West Seneca East Middle School on Monday and Wednesday evenings
SUPERVISOR MEEGAN
· It was discovered that firewalls have been blocking some emails to Town Board members
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Motion by Supervisor Meegan, seconded by Councilman Hanley, to recess to executive session at 3:25 PM to discuss two employee issues and a collective bargaining matter.
Ayes: All Noes: None Motion Carried
The board members returned from executive session at 5:00 P.M. and the work session was adjourned.
