Supervisor Sheila M. Meegan called the meeting to order at 2:00 P.M. with 30 seconds of silent prayer followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Supervisor Meegan read the Fire Prevention Code instructing the public where to exit in case of a fire or an emergency.

1. Supervisor Meegan re Budgetary transfer request
|

Motion by Supervisor Meegan, seconded by Councilman Hart, to approve a budgetary transfer request of $24,165 from Program Director Acct. #1.7620.0100 to Salary of Director Acct. #1.7140.0100 to establish a budget line for the new Recreation Director position and transfer $240 from Office Supplies Acct. #1.1670.0400 to Telephone Acct. #1.1220.0420 to cover the cost of Supervisor Meegan’s Verizon galaxy tablet monthly access charges.

On the question, Councilman Hart questioned if the Verizon galaxy tablet was a computer.
Supervisor Meegan responded that the tablet is what she uses when she is working at Town Hall, the Recreation Center, Senior Center, etc. where she has no computer.

2. Town Clerk re 14 Holy Helpers 5K walk/run
|

Motion by Supervisor Meegan, seconded by Councilman Hart, to approve 14 Holy Helpers School to hold a 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, April 13, 2013 beginning at 9:00 AM on designated streets in the Town of West Seneca with approval from Chief Gehen and Highway Supt. Matthew English.

3. Town Clerk re Budgetary transfer request

Motion by Supervisor Meegan, seconded by Councilman Rusinski, to approve a budgetary transfer request of $188 from Historical Preservation Exp. (2012) Acct. #01.1410.0426 to Records Management Exp. (2012) Acct. #01.1410.0442.

Motion by Supervisor Meegan, seconded by Councilman Rusinski, to approve the vouchers submitted for audit, chargeable to the respective funds as follows:
General Fund - $349,981.50; Highway Fund - $675,853.14; Special Districts - $80,521.70 (voucher #’s 76943-77414); Trust & Agency Fund - $3,440,873.63 (voucher #’s 77157-77419); Capital Fund - $119,111.94 (voucher #’s 77313-77345)

PRESENTATION OF COMMUNICATIONS BY BOARD MEMBERS AND DEPARTMENT HEADS
LIBRARY PROJECT
Councilman Hart stated he recently met with the architect concerning possibilities with regard to the library project, noting that nothing has been finalized.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Motion by Supervisor Meegan, seconded by Councilman Hart, to recess to Executive Session at 2:10 P.M. with Town Attorney Shawn Martin to discuss a potential real estate matter
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Supervisor Meegan, seconded by Councilman Hart, to adjourn the meeting at 3:30 P.M.
