West Seneca, NY – On Tuesday, January 3, 2023, the West Seneca Historical Society held their Swearing In Ceremony at West Seneca Town Hall with Town Supervisor Gary Dickson who administered the oath to the following officers and trustees for a two-year term, concluding 12/31/2024:

President - James Pace
Vice President - Kenneth Murray
Secretary - Shirley Accuso
Treasurer - Charles Wilder

Trustees -Raymond Ball, Ronald Baumgarten, Frances D'Amico, Jan Dalbo, Gene Hart, Barbara Reed, Gail Reynolds, Christopher Rine, and David Schultz

“The heart of the town is volunteers. They staff our fire companies, service clubs, scouts, sports leagues, the school board, and numerous other groups. We owe them all a debt of gratitude”, said Supervisor Dickson.

Town Historian Jim Pace and the Historical Society have made significant headway on historical preservation efforts in partnership with the Town of West Seneca this the past year. Accomplishments include the passing of the Historical Preservation Law which created a West Seneca Historical Commission and protects significant historical buildings and sites.

“I am happy to return as president and looking forward to working with the current officers and trustees which includes a number of veterans as well as some new people. I would also like to acknowledge and thank our outgoing president, Thomas Schobert”, said Pace.
