Mission Statement

The mission of the West Seneca Senior Citizens Center is to promote healthy aging, independence and the well-being of older adults through health, wellness, educational, cultural, and recreational programs and services.  We promote good fellowship in a friendly and relaxed manner that best serves residents of Erie County ages 50+.

Today’s active older adults are redefining quality of life and healthy aging. The West Seneca Senior Citizens Center will continue to be the focal point for area older adults who participate in our activities to engage with each other, meet new people, acquire new skills, and have fun!  In addition, our offerings support senior's independence, provide them with a sense of purpose and the opportunity for seniors to help seniors and promote intergenerational relationships.

Code of Conduct

Anyone who enters the West Seneca Senior Center is expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct.

The West Seneca Senior Center is open to all Erie County residents age 50+.  You do not need to be a resident of West Seneca to join or to visit the Center as many of our services are provided through Erie County.  (Please note, the Erie County programs we participate in have a minimum age requirement of 60+, but many are still available to younger seniors, just at a higher requested donation).  You may visit the Center as often as you like and participate in as many activities as you wish that interest you. If you choose to become a member, there are many benefits and attending the Center regularly keeps you apprised of all events and classes we have to offer.  Members receive priority registration at our events and classes (ex. Safe Driving Classes; Dinner Dance Tickets; Special Luncheons, Parties, and Celebrations; etc.).  There is no fee to join, just simply complete the membership form, visit us regularly, and start enjoying all the benefits!
