Family Fun Themed Skates

Take place during Recreational Skate. Regular Admission Fees Apply.


NOTE: Due to the high number of children attending public skate, please be advised of the following public skate admission rules:

-Capacity:  200

-Parents please pick up children promptly after public skate sessions.

-Once the Sold Out signs are posted on the door, DO NOT drop your child off.

-Loitering is not permitted in and round Ice Rink

-All people attending public must purchase a ticket and be ice skating





Resident ( 5 & Up) : $4.00

Non-Resident ( 5 & up) : $ 6.00

Resident Active Duty Military or Veteran Status - FREE

Senior w/ Town ID - FREE

Non-Resident Active Duty Military or Veteran Status - 

Senior without Town ID - $5.00

Ice Skate Rental - $ 3.00

Note: Skate Rental is not available for Adult Skate

Ice Rink Rental - $195.00 per hour


Skate & Shoot Fees

Resident - $ 7.00

Non-Resident - $9.00

Goalies are always FREE


 People interested in renting the Ice Rink should come to the Recreation Office located at 900 Mill Rd. to fill out necessary forms.

Facility Rules



The Town of West Seneca is not responsible for lost or stolen items.


Please call West Seneca Youth & Recreation with any concerns. The office phone number is (716) 674-6086.


Keep out of unassigned locker rooms, score table area, player boxes and penalty boxes.


Skates are to be worn only on the ice or in areas covered with protective rubber flooring.


Keep all ice access doors closed when the Zamboni (ice resurfacing machine) is on the ice. Stay off the ice until the Zamboni access doors are completely closed.


No food or drink allowed on the ice at any time.


Eating, drinking, littering and smoking on the ice at anytime is prohibited.


There is no alcohol, drugs or tobacco allowed inside the Ice Rink at anytime.


No weapons of any kind are permitted inside of the Ice Rink.


Children under 11 years of age must be accompanied by some over 18 years of age.


Please be aware and alert that hockey pucks may fly over the boards during practices, warm ups and games. Use caution when on the ice and outside of the ice.


Only adequately trained and authorized personnel will be allowed to operate scoring and audio equipment


Please no outside food or drink. The Snack Shack is open most times for the purchase of these items.

Recreational Skating Rules


Skate at your own risk.


Parents are responsible to watch and care for their own children.


Use only designated or assigned areas for changing skates.


Prohibited: Crack the Whip, Tag, Pom, Racing, Keep Away, Sticks or Pucks (or other shooting devices), taking of hats, gloves or mittens, tossing of snowballs, etc.


Follow instructions from West Seneca Youth & Recreation staff.


Helmets and pads are recommended for all skaters.


Skate aids are to be used only by beginner skaters. West Seneca Youth & Recreation has walkers available to use free of charge. Each individual using a walker must sign a waiver; waivers are available when walkers are signed out. If the individual is under 18 years old their legal parent or guarding must sign the waiver.


Skaters must move in designated direction.


No hockey sticks are permitted on the ice during Recreational Skate.


The beginner skating area is in the East end of the rink.


Children under 11 years of age must be accompanied by some over 18 years of age.


Follow all posted or stated facility rules: Anyone not abiding by posted or stated rules and regulations OR conduct that may endanger the safety of self or others may be asked to leave the ice and/or facility without refund.
